Timothy Charoenying is the designer and developer of Math Agent and a former public elementary school special education teacher and math intervention specialist (grades 3-5). Timothy received his M.S. in Early Childhood Special Education from Fordham University and completed his PhD in Mathematics Education from the University of California, Berkeley. Timothy's design ethos is centered around making the lives of students healthier and happier. Another one of his apps, Jump Jump Froggy, was featured by CNN as an alternative to Pokemon Go. The app (and it's successor, Jump Jump Froggy 2, were designed with the simple idea that if children were going to be using apps anyways, they might as well be moving their bodies too! A San Francisco native, Timothy worked in the New York City Public School system. He currently lives with his wife and two children in Boulder, Colorado.
